Jeff completed his law degree at the University of Saskatchewan in 2021. Prior to entering law school, he completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Alberta majoring in philosophy and psychology. During and after law school, Jeff worked on research projects examining the impact of domestic violence on family law mediation and litigation.

Jeff completed his articles at Crerar Badejo Hagen Family Law Group in 2023 where he worked on matters involving division of property, parenting, relocation, child support, spousal support, and the enforcement of prenuptial agreements. He also has experience working on matters involving the determination of income for the purpose of determining child or spousal support when the income earner earns income through a corporation.

Jeff has appeared before the Alberta Court of King’s Bench and Alberta Court of Justice but also has experience resolving disputes through negotiation and mediation.

Jeff understands that family disputes take an emotional and financial toll on those involved. He prefers to reach negotiated resolutions to disputes thereby minimizing stress to clients and keeping legal fees to a minimum. However, Jeff is comfortable litigating disputes if a fair outcome cannot be achieved through negotiation or mediation. Jeff understands that it is important to listen to clients to determine what their interests and goals are before working with them to choose a course of action best suited to achieve their goals.
