Jordan Crerar acts in an “of counsel” role at Helm Family Law LLP. She has partially retired from legal practice and is no longer taking on new files; however, she is available to advise on files.

Prior to commencing law school, Jordan raised five children on a farm in central Alberta. Although initially Jordan started practising in the areas of civil litigation and real estate, over time she focused her practice exclusively on the area of family law.

Jordan has had success at all levels of Court in Alberta. Although it was never her first choice to take a matter to Court, Jordan realized that in some situations clients are left with no recourse but to seek the Courts involvement. During Jordan’s career she developed a reputation as a tough litigator. Jordan has extensive trial experience in both the Alberta Court of Justice and Court of King’s Bench.

In her free time, Jordan loves to travel with her husband and to spend time with her five children, two stepchildren and sixteen grandchildren (and two corgis). Jordan enjoys outdoor recreation including hiking, biking and pickleball with her family and friends.
