Lawyer Profile
Allison received her Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan in 2022. Prior to entering law school, Allison completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Alberta, majoring in Political Science and Sociology. Allison completed her articles at Crerar Badejo Hagen Family Law Group, where she was exposed to all assets of family law, including parenting, child support, spousal support, and division of property. She has appeared before the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta and the Alberta Court of Justice and has attended proceedings at the Court of Appeal of Alberta. Allison has also participated in alternative forms of resolution outside of the court, including mediation and negation. Allison was called to the Alberta bar in August 2023, and is excited to be joining Helm Family Law LLP as an associate.
Allison takes a compassionate approach to the practice of family law and understands that her clients are often dealing with emotional and life-impacting decisions. Her goal is always to minimize conflict and to reach an amicable resolution. However, where necessary Allison is not afraid to pursue litigation in the interests of her clients. Allison will always work with her clients to find the best approach for their specific needs.
Outside of the office, Allison enjoys cooking, Pilates, exploring new restaurants in her city, and cheering on the Edmonton Oilers.
